Hallo also zunächst mal der Hinweis, die Kamera ist wirklich toll und wird komplett mit Set ausgeliefert. Steht zwar nicht so in der Beschreibung aber war bei mir so.
Die Kamera macht tolle Bilder und auch Videos. Zudem ist das Zoomen echt Klasse.
Einziger großer Minuspunkt ist das Touchscreen.
– erstens lässt es sich selbst außerhalb der Hülle recht umständlich bedienen
– zweitens und das ist echt sch… kann man es mit dem Unterwassercase (bis 30m) gar nicht mehr bedienen; was zur Folge hat, dass man Unterwasser nicht zwischen den Modi (Foto/Video) wechseln kann. Das ist deshalb äußerst ärgerlich, da ja bereits Actioncams von vor fast zehn Jahren diesen Dienst leisteten.
Fazit:
Wer also das Case nicht nutzt wird keine Einschränkungen haben, Bilder aus Videos (so habe ich das UW Problem gelöst) sind auch noch von hoher Qualität und der Akku hält auch fast zwei Tauchgänge von a 60 Minuten.
Mit Ersatzakkus also eine tolle Alternative zur Gopro 8.

The communication between the app and the camera lags and there is a delay of 2 seconds, even from a foot away. I feel the wifi module is at fault … Stabilizer could be improved … Screen quality needs to be improved as it is not able to cope up with the lens quality

Overall product quality is soo good but there are some cons.
If you are a moto vlogger and record in 4k 30fps then go for it blindly coz it has the best stabilization at this range. The stabilization of this cam never disappoints you. the video you record is sharper image quality. the camera software is best at 4k recording with a high bitrate.
If you don’t have a heavy system to edit in 4k then don’t buy. You can go for an Sj6 legend. Sj6 has better quality at 1080p 60fps.
But you want to record in 1080p 60fps then don’t go for it coz it disappoints you a lot even I got disappointed after watching 1080p video. Stabilization work good but the quality of the video does not look like 1080p it’s like you are recording at 360p or 480p. At 1080p 60fps the bit rate is to low and this is the basic reason to spoil your mood.
Slow-motion works well. It has a good battery backup of 1h13min at 4k 30fps.

Laut Anleitung und Technischen Daten kann die Kamera auch in hohen Auflösungen bis zu 20 Minuten aufnehmen, ohne das Video zu splitten, wenn die Speicherkarte exFat-formatiert ist. Das funktioniert aber nicht. Sobald 4GB voll sind, legt das Teil ne neue Datei an. Man bekommt also ständig Videos, die in mehrere Teile gesplittet sind, obwohl sie die eingestellte Minutengrenze nicht überschritten haben. Der Hersteller sitzt das wohl aus; das Problem ist jedenfalls schon länger bekannt, wurde aber bisher nicht behoben.

This is a very decent purchase for motovlogging and best buy for beginners.
The stabilisation is excellent at this price point. The only issue, which is sound quality, is not much of a hassle during motovlogging with the protective housing as it cancels the windblast and captures the vloggers voice well.

I bought the SJCAM SJ8 Pro after looking at many reviews on Amazon and You Tube. The camera came with various mounting accessories and a waterproof case, and a small lens cap which is really handy keeping the lens protected when the camera is not in the waterproof case.
So far i’m very pleased with the camera, the build quality is good having a kind of matt black rubberised feel to it, the touch screen is very bright and responsive, the camera feels high end with the small front screen aswell, which is a really useful feature to have.
The footage from the camera i’ve taken so far looks very good, colours look natural and recordings look very good at various resolutions, one negative point is the camera’s sound wasn’t great on a windy day as the mics just picked up wind noise, but on calmer days the sound was ok, i have ordered the external mic for the camera to see if it will improve the sound quality.
The only other slight negative was the Google Play store Android version of the SJCAM app which works fine with my Samsung Galaxy Note 10+, but i was unable to get my Samsung Tab S5e to work with it, it will connect to the camera’s wifi but when you open the app there’s a picture of the camera but the connect button on the tablet screen is missing, something SJCAM need to address in an app update, all in all so far a very good camera with excellent features and very good recording quality.

Had to send back as picture and video quality was pretty shocking considering it was on 4K, also when playing the video back it kept glitching and a tapping sound kept appearing over the audio (I didn’t have anything over the mic). Disappointed and will be getting a GoPro instead.

I have checked the youtube review and bought this camera. 1st problem is this doesnot support any external mic. Si i bought sj8pro mic from Flipkart. New problem with mic generate is wind noise coming after 25kmph. Then checked youtube and gota know that i have to wrape the mic to control the wind noise. I have done the same as well now mic cannot detect what i am saying.
This is the problem with the mic
Picture quality is average and not cleare.
Eis is working average.
Over all i would like to say that you can go for it if you are not a moto vloger.
But instead of buying this camera beter to buy a mobile like realme 5/ pro which will give better picture and video quality if ignored the eis.
