Value for money,first I was not confused wether I can buy ac online but it’s a good decision compared to buy from stores and pay extra for transportation charges now I can save almost 4k in that and finally my room size was 340 sqft so little confused wether 1.5ton can accommodate but u can very well go for it,it takes time to cool this room but otherwise worth it

About the product::
Pros:
-Superior cooling (my room is on top floor with direct sunlight on roof and three walls)
-Energy efficient
-Value for money
-Relatively quiet outdoor unit
-Room feels cold even at 27°C
– Memory function – AC restarts with previously set temperature once power is back
-Backlit remote
-Crisp display on indoor unit
Cons::
-Indoor unit is slightly noisy at higher fan speeds (42 dB)but manageable
-No horizontal swing but room cools pretty fast so we can ignore this con too.
Overall a fantastic purchase. I’m loving it.

I live in Chennai and purchased the Blue Star 1.5 Tr 3 Star Fixed Speed Split AC (Copper, FA318PLU, 2022, White) through Amazon.
Seller was M/s Dawntech Electronics.
Product arrived in perfect condition.
3 m insulated copper tubing and electrical cable for connecting the indoor and outdoor units were included in the box.
This unit has copper tubing and importantly, Blu Fin corrosion protection
Being a fixed speed machine it won’t have expensive repairs down the line.
Blue Star installation engineers were very competent and did a wonderful job.
They charged 1200/- for labour and Rs 200/- for the white tape consumed.
The AC can be run in different modes and noise level is sufficiently low in most of them.
Cools really well.
Ideal product for people who need an AC for night time use in the bedroom.

The media could not be loaded.
Unfortunately I received a defective peice which came to my knowledge next day after installation (video) ; I called up on Bluestar service which was promptly taken up, their finding was, defected inner unit cooling coil resulting a gas leak (Image). Amazon customer care told me that for replacement it’s showing undeliverable but I can place a new order of same article for same address, now only option is refund; And in this case the installation fee I paid earlier is non refundable and since amazon does not have any AC uninstall scheme, I have to be responsible for uninstallation as well. So basically customer ends up bearing twice the cost of installation (once for defected peice and other one for later ordered one) plus the cost of uninstallation.
IMO Amazon claiming to be customer centric is just outrageous, and I would suggest other people do factor in possibility of loss that might incurr due to defective article while purchasing heavy house appliances from Amazon.
I have no qualms with Blue star since they were prompt in their service, giving 1 star here for Amazon only. This turned out to be a rly bad experience for me.

I have purchased Blue star 1.5 ton AC (FSFS318EBTU) 2021 Model thru Amazon, delivery was good. They have delivered as per the scheduled date. But they missed to provide the Copper Pipe.. it was mentioned in the outdoor box that the copper pipe was inside.. but the technician came for installation they opened the outdoor box and we don’t find the free 3 m copper pipe. Whoever is purchasing the AC, please have your delivery boys to open the Indoor and outdoor product and see if all necessary accessories or equipment’s are available. Cooling is fast. Less noise in the outdoor unit.. Product is good.

I couldn’t understand an installation of ac would cost 5k, after paying 33k to the company.
It is a fraud scenario, of adjusting the ac cost in installation. I will not buy blue star ac and not recommended anyone.

Every thing ok…but the left side of the swinging plate’s knob found broken after unboxing. Kindly help me to replace that part of the product.
