I got 2022 model
at least 10ft copper tubing came with the AC (I have read reviews that say no copper tubing came) along with enough wiring
installation – I called the Samsung Customer service and they arranged it; it was very smooth. The installation guys charged Rs 1200 for service and about 1400 for incidentals (16A plug, Rs 950 for rubber boots stand for the outdoor unit – we put it on terrace and I didn’t want it to sit on the floor, some white cement to seal the wall etc.)
total cost without tip for installation was Rs 2600 – I could have skipped the rubber boots easily (for example those mounting it on a well-drained place; or an existing wall-stand can do that) and that would save another 950
the installation was very professionally done and took ~2hrs
that is as far as the installation (the biggest potential concern/headache for those buying online) goes.
the product itself it pretty good; it is just 1ton but cooled ourrather large room (at least 200ft, probably more) in just about 20min. To be fair weather wasn’t particularly hot (I think it was 32 outside, may be 30 inside). But we got it for Mysore where weather doesn’t get too hot (Delhi like) the entire year, and primary usage will be hot summer nights only (children may decide to use it in some summer days also), so this isn’t bad at all
I have had 2ton ACs in my Delhi home, and this one is at par.
There is no noise whatsoever – you simply can’t hear it; except for the russle the wind makes when the wind hits papers etc. in the room. In any normal setup at home, a fan at lowest speed will make much more racket than this AC at highest.
It is 4-star, not 5-star; there will likely be a difference in electricity usage, but for my usage (not a super hot place especially at nights; day time max temperatures under 40 night time usually below 30 in peak summers; and relatively short summers – March to early June and later August/September) I couldn’t justify the considerable price difference between 4-star and 5-star; also I wanted Samsung (service center is available here very nearby)
For someone living in north India, planning on heavy usage, it may make sense to go for 5-star models (sch people may save as many as 2-3 units of electricity per day in peak summers; overall may be 100-150units in one year)
Delivery was done in 24hrs, installation was done same day as delivery.
I have been using it for a few days now; the operation is super silent, we can’t figure it is on except from the reduced temperature and the small display on the side; operation is so easy my 10yr old can work it

Installation is not @499, but they charges 700 for clamps. Company does not provide clamp &power plug (16A). You need to pay extra. So total installation charges will be 1200(approx) + electric accessories like power plug n technician.
Product is average in this range.

Installation charges reasonable(500 installation charges+750 for stand+100 for plug+100 for extra 1 m wire)

Outdoor and indoor unit both are little noisy compared to my other whirlool ac
Energy rating is not best. My other whirlpool ac has better energy rating
Overall its good choice in this price but not best..!!

After you switch it on it takes a couple of minutes (2-3) for the compressor to start and so does the cooling. So initially it takes 10-15 minutes or more to cool but once cooled it’s a good one, maintains the temperature well.
I am reviewing this product after 1 month of daily usage since purchased. This is a super Silent AC on Quiet Mode, even you can hear the clock ticking and not AC’s blower fan. Have even recorded the video for the same.
Outdoor unit is 15 feet above (on the terrace) so no noise from it too. Overall I am totally impressed with this AC.
Was too hesitant to buy an AC from Samsung coz have a 2 Ton Split AC in Pune, Maharashtra since last 10 years whose gas leaks every year or 2nd year without fail.
Will update the review further if i face any issues later till then giving 5 stars for this one.

Dislikes: 1. Samsung has told Rs. 500 for installation, but charged us Rs. 1600 and extras for wall mounting stand and other cable charges.
Why the wall mounting is not included inside the standard fitting items….and what is the purpose of doing installation without stand or do we have anyother method to place the outdoor unit without stand. They charged us for even tapes and other consumables.

Performs as advertised. Indoor unit is very quiet. Outdoor unit is also less noisier than you may expect. Cools quite fast. Most importantly, it has good customizability. The display can be turned off for those of us who don’t want the light. The AC can be set to 5 different power settings, all the way from 40% to 120% (whatever that means). The indoor unit is also pretty compact.
The installation team did their job well. I didn’t wait for Amazon to raise a request; I directly called Samsung after the delivery, and they assigned a technician to install it on the same day. Technician called and arrived within 30 minutes. But installation did take close to 2 hours. They explained what they were going to do and asked where I wanted it installed. The hole was only a few inches thick, and they sealed up the hole afterwards. Overall, they charged 1700 (base installation was 500+GST), including 950 for wall mount for outdoor unit plus a few little things.
