Orient fans may look good in design n color but make lot of noise. I got orient, havells nd crompton fans for my house. Orient makes most noise. Would not recommend.

One from 2 makes sound when it starts. We rechecked the installation. No problem there. May be there is defect in the item or was damaged during transportation

Most of the Companies engage designing and Research Engineers to build their products with latest trends, but ignore equally important things like Split pin, Wire connectors, Plastic Canopy and the quality of Blade.
Basically Split Pin is used to safe guard the bolt and nut that holds the Fan, but if that Pin breaks in the first bend itself and the whole Fan falls on your head, just imagine …
The split pin may not cost more than 5 Paisa, but that is a very important part of a Ceiling Fan fitting. The quality should be as good as the motor winding
Similarly, the wire connector that is used plays a very important role. Here the connector has a screw that slips, and the Electrician who fits it just ignores and fixes it and goes away.
But in usage, the slipped screw can fall off and the fan can stop working. The Research and design engineers don’t look into these aspects.
All consumers may not be Technocrats like me. And they are being exploited by the small time Electricians.
Basically I liked the Fan, but the manufacturer should also consider the above mentioned points.
This review is based on the day of installation, performance will be reviewed after 6 months.

These are quite expensive. Nothing extra. Just pay premium charge for fancy looking fans. I had to purchase it as the theme of my house was demanding for the same color scheme. That’t it. Nothing extra to boast upon.
