LG makes the best IPS displays (accurate and realistic colours) starting since supplying the iPhone 6/Mac IPS panels to Apple. Zowie (Benq) make the fastest TN panels for gaming. Samsung make VA panels which are somewhere in between.
There are other panels available with higher refresh rates but IPS technology is peaked around 144hz now and anything beyond that causes ghosting effects. This panel at 1080p is arguably better than say a more expensive 2K-4K res panel because (1) it is more suited to gaming and results in higher frame rates for the same GPU, (2) it is more responsive at 1ms GTG than a higher res IPS and (3) 24″ 1080p res screens have sharper images than 27″ 1080p
At 15k INR is good value for such a responsive IPS display. The stand is used on LGs most expensive monitors unlike previous models.

LG has a good reputation which is why I chose this one over other cheaper alternatives and I am glad I did. I bought it at ₹15,499, I would have liked a discount of ₹1000-2000 on this price but still it was an overall good purchase. It provides full 144Hz refresh rate on HDMI which is very fortunate since I didn’t need to buy any type c to display adapter just to use this monitor at its full potential. The setup and installation was very easy and takes only a minute. Colors are good enough out of the box and I haven’t had any need to change anything. The only problem was that they gave only a display port cable in the box but fortunately I had an HDMI cable lying around otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to use the monitor immediately.
Note – One thing I noticed was that the backlight seemed flickering at times and at first I thought it was a defect but I found a reddit post where other people also had this issue with LG Ultragear monitors but it wasn’t actually an issue but rather a power saving feature where monitor constantly adjusts backlight intensity based on color to save power and it can be turned off completely so keep that in mind.

The panel of this monitor is great and has enough brightness which can be viewed even in a well lit room. The refresh rate and quality of the panel is so much better than my older 1080p Samsung monitor. I play Valorant by connecting my laptop to this and i am getting 144fps with the max refresh rate. It’s also good for consuming content as the colors are vibrant and quality of the picture is good due to high ppi. I highly recommend buying this if you are looking for a budget gaming monitor!

The panel itself is decent but the pixel density is low and color balance leans on the warmer side.
The monitor stand has rotation and height adjustment, good option for WFH.
Got a used product, scratch on the monitor stand but screen itself looks fine.
Purchased for 15k during Prime Day sale.
Please exercise caution while purchasing, I will update this if I face any issues.
Thanks for reading.

My unit had a dead pixel in it but it’s not a huge deal and doesn’t bothers me at all. Other than that its a good monitor just had to calibrate colours to my preference.👍

Quality control is very poor and disappointing by LG atleast here in India. A lot of people are complaining about backlight bleeding, dead pixels and what not. Mine one works perfectly well in SDR without any issues but in HDR it produces grainy static in white areas. Bright white areas like clouds appear blown out and produce static grains in that area. I have no idea why that’s happening. Tried searching on the internet but couldn’t find anything similar. Finally just decided to live with it and use SDR mode only.
Buying Displays online is just like a gamble. You might recieve a good unit, a bad one or anything in between. I would suggest if possible buy displays from offline market and test them thoroughly before buying.
