Picture quality good not great. Sound quality good. I wanted to use this monitor for postprocessing images but I dont think it will live upto thoss specs. For regular IT job this is good enough in every sense.
I do not like that sound is to be control through the joystick like button and so are other settings. Would have prefered some other ways .

Monitor looks good, so far good quality (work, movies, games), surprisingly this monitor have a decent speaker(we all know how bad monitor speakers are, ofc it’s still not as good as speaker systems, but better than other monitors)
Update(using after 3 weeks):
Totally satisfied. It may not be the best monitor in the world, but got what i expected. I mostly use this for work(coding, reading research papers and stock charts), movies and a little gaming, does well for all tasks. I usually switch between modes for each task(game mode, reading mode…), Speakers are an unexpected added advantage.

Its a good purchase if you desperately need a second screen for a better workspace.
The screen resolution is 1080p so u will see pixels. However, with use u will forget to notice it.
The sound quality is also good. Have a heavy base…
Atleast I feelt its better sounding than my XPS 9560.
Its definitely recommended for video editing, multi word document editing etc.
Remember to test the screen for backloght bleeding etc using videos from youtube. I notice backlight bleeding but its very minute.

Perfect for home office setup. Only thing I felt is you need to handle with care. After fixing all assembly, the screen tilts from sides on little force application because of middle bridge that joins with stand is below center and doesn’t hold the screen tight. Something that can be ignored if wall mounted or not to be moved frequently.

The screen was well-packaged, lightweight and easy to install. The overall quality is very good, and the best part is that 2 HDMI inputs, along with a DVI port, for backward compatibility with devices that only have DVI option. There’s an HDMI cable also that came with the screen.
The inbuilt speaker is a great feature, but do not expect extremely HQ sound. But not poor quality either. Not sure if I am satisfied with the price, coz it feels like I overpaid for this product. I hope I won’t be disappointed.

Its been a year since I brought this monitor, it was working fine till around 6 months I faced screen retention issue, called up LG customer care and they sent a technician to look into it and after a few weeks they replaced the panel and it has been working fine till now. I was very happy with the no hassle replacement. The only issue I had was that there is no tilt option even though it says tilt option is there in the desccription.
