The image I have posted is with the eye-saver turned on. Basically it is a good monitor. It is what you would expect for normal use (browsing, watching movies, videos etc). I do not play hi speed games, so I wont comment on that.
The best part is the eye saver feature. It feels very easy on the eyes compared to my previous one. With the eye saver turned off, the images will be bright but causes strain. With it turned on, images are less bright (with less blue light emission I guess) and more easier on the eyes.
One complaint is, I wish it is priced around 7.5K, which I feel is the fair price. I still feel it is worth buying.

Samsung has a reputation for their screens, and this one is no different. Doesn’t have any of the bells and whistles of the higher priced panels, but a 1080p 22-inch LED (?) panel at 8.5k is a decent deal in my book. I came in with low expectations as my previous panel was bottom of the barrel, and I’m satisfied with my purchase.
– 6.5ms response time is strictly average, but you aren’t buying this monitor for low latency performance anyway.
– They do provide HDMI and VGA cables with the box, so you don’t have to worry about that.
– Don’t use the eye protection mode, it’s bad. You will be much better off manually tuning the colour profile and using f.lux to adjust the colour temperature yourself.

I was skeptical before ordering but I am presently very relieved to receive the product. The screen is soothing, doesn’t blind my eyes, and the eye protection mode is so perfect! The box contained all the necessary cables, I didn’t have to look anywhere else. This product is very easy to install, and definitely adds a splendour.
