Pros:
* beautiful screen
* great cameras, although the macro camera is a bit of a gimmick
* plenty of storage and ram, hopefully it lasts for few years
* Samsung has promised 4 years of OS+security updates
Cons:
* phone is loaded with a lot of preinstalled apps and bloatware – most of this can be removed
* asks to login to Samsung account for stuff like secure folders, and themes

I specifically purchased this for NFC. After receiving the device came to know that it doesnt have NFC. Everywhere in net its mentioned that A33 5G is NFC capable. Feeling cheated.

I am posting the reviewing after using this phone for 3 months and my findings are:
Pros:
1. Looks: The phone looks very classy and premium from the back. The camera bump rises smoothly and is easy to clean.
2. Built: The built quality of the phone is very good even though the entire phone is made of plastic.
3. Screen: The screen is 90Hz, which results in smooth animations. The colour calibration is very good, they really pop. Great screen for content consumption.
4. Camera: Main camera is brilliant, even in low light thanks to the OIS. Ultra wide and telephoto modes are useable and good. The 4K video from the main camera uses the full sensor and as a result the video comes out very good. The ultra wide can shoot only upto 1080p 30fps.
5. Battery: I have got screen on time of 7hrs 30mins with 5% charge left. It easily last for a day and a half. The charging speed is 25W max, but there is no charger in the box. The Samsung 25W charger charges the phone up from 20% to 100% under an hour.
6. Software: Biggest plus point of a Samsung phone is its software. The one UI 4.1 is the best Android right now. The experience is very smooth and stable. No bugs to report so far. And the best part of the software package are the SMART SCREEN ON and BIXBY ROUTINES, these features have made my life very easy.
7. Speakers: The phone has stereo speakers and they loud and the quality is very good. There is decent amount of low end.
8. Ingress protection: This is the only phone at this price range with IP67 dust and water resistance rating. And I have used this phone for navigation on my bike during rain and have faced no issues.
Cons:
1. The phone doesn’t have ALWAYS ON DISPLAY, even though all other Samsung phones have it.
2. The phone only registers 3 fingerprints, which is low for my use.
3. The screen bezels are uneven which makes the phone look old from the front.
4. The haptic feedback feels very cheap.

when i open lockscreen and put the passwrd , screen is hanged and it takes too much time to open..its just been 2 months ,no warrnty nd guarntee by amazon and seller..
very inconvinience purchase from amazon..

Though for namesake the is HDR, hi res video streaming avilable. But this is not the case when I started using the device. Does not play YouTube video beyond 1080 p resolution. Netflix will not recognise the device as HD streaming capable and only play videos in cheap SD resolution. Is the case for the OTT platforms in A33. Samsung Customer care can just take feedback but can’t do anything to fix the issue. Multiple compliants won’t yield any results. A very regretful purchase, and will make sure not to get any more samsung mobiles.

Screen size 6.4 is large enough for content viewing and small enough to fit in the palm

I will get OS updates for 4 years, which is a great thing.
