Had already been a few weeks since my son’s & my haircut when the lock down happened. By end of April, it had been almost 2 months since my haircut & I was getting desperate for a haircut as I don’t like long hair.
Did my research and out of the limited options available for ordering, ordered BT3211/15. Was really loking forward to the delivery and by the time it was delivered, had watched several videos on cutting/ trimming one’s own hair on YouTube.
I used the trimmer to cut my own hair (with some help from my wife) & also to cut my son’s hair. Being the first time, it did not come out perfect, but we are nearly there, so am extremely pleased with the results.
Tried using the attachment at a setting of 10 to cut the hair, but that did not seem to work well…probably because my hair are thick and the growth is also thick, so was probably too much for the trimmer to handle. However, the comb & trimmer combo, without the attachment, worked well. Takes some practice to use…but as with everything practice makes us perfect.
Would recommend to people who want to cut their hair at home & also to people who want to trim their beard.

Powerful motor, philips 3000 series is awesome, after all the lift and trim system doesn’t work. Charging time is bit lengthy. Near about 1 hr backup. Got a year extended warranty after registration of this product in philips website.

This model does not have fast charging. I called and checked with the Philips customer care. It will take 10 hours each time to charge from 0 to 100%. I would request Amazon to take action against this seller to remove false and misleading information.

Earlier I was using BT1212/15 which comes with 1mm – 5mm – 7mm combs only. But after few days of using it I felt 1mm is too small and 5mm is too big for me !!! I needed something in between. Amazon republic day sale 2019 was going on and this trimmer was discounted to rs 1299. So, I decided to buy it because of 20 lock-in strength with 0.5mm precision. Don’t have any words to say about the quality of this trimmer because It’s the best money can buy . But one thing I didn’t liked is the power on/off button because it could have been better !!! Anyway, if your budget is around 1500 then just swipe your card and buy this thing. Trust me, you won’t feel cheated 🙂

The built and material quality is better than the QT4001 which I had prior to this. Can be used corded which is a big advantage, has fairly long usage times on battery. The color is catchy and the grip is comfortable. The lift and trim comb attachment does work better and is not just a gimmick. It has 20 length levels for precise control over the length of beard. Comes with a travel adapter and a small cleaning brush as well. Perfect for those who trim their beard once or twice a week but if you intend to use it more frequently then spend a few hundred extra and get the next model which has titanium coated blades and they will retain their sharpness longer.

Got it 1299/- and it’s a killer deal. Sharp blades, very good battery backup. One thing I would like to share is that, charging time written on specs is 10hr but with 1 to 1.30 hrs it
gets completely charged. So Philips mass produced battery which was used in BT3215/3221. Only issue which I found was with the pouch. It’s extremely small to fit the trimmer and charger. U will not be able to close the zip with trimmer inside.
Conclusion- Excellent product at this range.
Edit – After using for 5 days, I thought of putting it in charge. Got Amazed, it charged fully within 20 mins 😊😊

This has to be the best trimmer ever. Lasts long. Can be used with a cord directly with AC power. Can be used as a battery powered trimmer. The clip has a decent feel and the trimmer itself is not like irritating the skin
This is a must buy if you have to buy one!

Not at all satisfied with the product. Firstly the package was delivered half open means someone had used it prior or someone opened it….The pouch given with it is so cheap its ziplock broke on first use….Only gave 2 stars for good trimming ability of product but nothing exceptional compared to previous trimmers by phillips….Did not expect a brand like Phillips to give such a pathetic travel pouch..Dont buy this product after watching the TV ad
