IFB 6.5 kg 5 Star Fully-Automatic Top Loading Washing Machine (TL-REW AQUA, white, Triadic Pulsator, 3D Wash Technology)

Just had the installation done for the product delivered yesterday. Delivery was on time and perfect. As per the installation executive, this seems to be a very delicate machine. This is a brand new model and nobody much knows what all features are supported and how to use them. Put it on Corona that’s ok, not much training nowadays. But the way the technician presses the touch button seems I have to hit gym soon to use this. Nothing is responding to clicks. And whatever the company says about filtration, this product is very delicate and any hardness in water, better go for a new one around 4 years (as per exec.). Moreover 3rd party filters are not allowed even in the near vicinity or IFB wont like. Finally in this machine you are not supposed to use any other washing powders or liquids but for IFB Fluff liquid, which 10 l the technician brought with him. Seems they dont allow any loose quantity also. That is an additioal 2700 (discounted price from 2900). My question to IFB is why company is not selling the mandatory products with the machine itself and update the price accordingly. You cant cheat someone who just shelled out around 20K for another 4K for basic working of the products. Lets see how the machine works and probably add another review but for the initial experience, its very scary and bad! Dont go for it if you want that or ready to add another 5K to your budget.

And as per technicians you should never buy from Amazon.

The product is worst ever thing bought on Amazon. In the first wash itself the pulsator of the washing machine came out of its place. It doesn’t cleans the clothes at all. After lodging a request for replacement to Amazon, their technician came and just fixed the pulsator on its place by a screwdriver and said its all ok. But again in the next wash the pulsator came out of its place. I am feeling like I have done great mistake by buying this IFB Washing Machine. Request Amazon to return this useless machine.

I got this machine on time on 23 Oct and Amazon arranged a demo by IFB technician, however, to avoid any delay, I called them before the product arrived and scheduled an appointment for demo. This product have all features like hot water washing, Jean’s, delicates, Express, wash, rinse, spin but there is no feature of tub clean or tub dry..In spin function, we need to dry our clothes. I found 90% of our clothes dry in the machine itself due to the high [email protected]. Initially we have issues with the water inlet since our tap didn’t have much pressure, later we called plumber to set the tap for high pressure and IFB technician checked it later, recommended us to purchase a ‘Filter’ to avoid hard water to come into the machine. Finally, we set it up and worked fine. Usually, we can use ‘smart sense’ option which will take upto 53 mins and the water inlet will automatically according to the load you put. Overall it’s good performance and the clothes washing run very smoothly.

ifb service provider called and forced for stand and cover. if we say we don’t need such things, then they directly cancel the service call. after waiting 2days, we called amazon and report the issue.
but there is no response from IFB. Then after 2days there is a call from local technician and asking to fix stabilizer it will cost rs3000/-.
when we say we don’t want any extra fittings, he is saying that he is in another town and he can’t attend.
after 8days technician came and telling that you need to clean the machine with power which cost around rs180/- otherwise clothes may get damaged.
it creates very bad name for IFB BRAND because of such useless people at some places. Please take care.
we are using IFB for 18 years, that they don’t know.
