Had very higher expectations from Akai as I thought it was a Japanese Brand.
First of all , seal was open. Secondly , the usb cable port has been rusted quite a bit.
Secondly , the music is not balanced, the bass is too high and background music is almost not clearly audible.
Build Quality is not upto the mark. If u by Chance give a bit of pressure to it’s original structure,it would break without folding up. The wires look like it would tear apart within 2 months of daily use.
Again…. I had better expectations because Akai is a Japanese Brand but I’m highly disappointed.
I’m feeling bad to write such a review for a Japanese Company . Pardon me for this but I’m being honest here.

Awesome quality and superb sound. Connectivity is so easy. Battery backup is also superb. Voice command support is an advantage. 100% recommended.

These are a hidden jewel in the sea of fake and cheap chinese neckband earphones.
The build quality is decent, given their price.
Sound quality is decent they are a bit bass heavy, clarity is fine, they sound better than similarly priced earphones from boAt.
Mic quality can surely be improved.
Battery life is their main USP, will take a while to test it xD.
They also support dual pairing and you can play music from any paired device (one at a time).
They are a bit bulky due to the huge battery, but the earphones fit well and provide decent passive noise cancellation. My unit surprisingly had a micro sd card slot. Haven’t tested it as I won’t be using it anyways.
Easy to recommend them to anyone having a budget of 1000 to 1500 rupees. Especially over brands like boAt that hype their products to much more than they are worthy of.
I hope AKAI keeps producing good quality and well priced products like this one.

Which much deliberation decided to go with a brand that isn’t going rounds in the market. Ear phone sound quality lacks depth and bass but overall good. However the piece I received was so damn old…the wire looks so fragile, the earpiece wire is loose and it looked like a 3 year old piece!
Already people are losing interest and faith in online purchases and these jokers are making it worse for online platforms.
Send the product for which I paid for and which you have advertised A-hs ..don’t send the ones that you were never able to sell from years!

Excellent bass sound! Excellent product but I give 4 stars due to these reasons below: 1. Frequently disconnects bluetooth and also 2. Can answer calls on only one smartphone even though it connects to 2 phones via bluetooth. Not sure why 🙁 3. Best value for money at this price. 4. Cannot connect to phone via bluetooth while listening to music on SD Card. I wish I could have shuffle songs feature while listening on SD card. 5. You can always trust Japanese technology!!

Seller informed charging port is type C but not in reality. Toy like built, sent a seal broken dirty product, charging cable is rusted i.e rejected by any other. Earbuds are well built produce balanced passive sound. Definitely not water & sweat resistant, charging port & TF card port is open. Akai has become old let them rest after a long run for decades. Sending dirty, rusty items means these have been dumped for many years. Simple way to manipulate by using an ancient name and as Japanese brand. Refund is possible by Amazon but waste of time.
