Dear black & decker – dont try to cheat customers – they will cheat u back . It was easy for me to get drill bits from market, get my job done and return the product later . But i wont do wrong cos u are wrong . Despite returning the incomplete product, and getting assurance from amazon after ur confirmation that product was sent incomplete due to manual error , u ensured this time it would be sent 100% complete . Even i had to follow up for rebill . Finally today after placing order on 27th, i got the same thi g again- INCOMPLETE ORDER ! are u pushing nonsense things through amazon? Why is ur product detail misleading ? Why cant u be transparent ! Would u bill an item if payment is even Rs 10 lesser than cost ? I had given u a chance – never again in life . There are better options available – MADE IN INDIA ! Far below expectations if we compare your brand perception !

At first I was to skeptical to buy it after reading all the negative comments. But after buying it my expectation about the product completely changed.
Pros:-
1. Powerful motor of 550 watts at this price.
2. 10mm chuck with both hammering and drilling options.
3. Got a nice storage bag with lots of accessories like screw bits, drill bits, screws and plastic anchors. (If you buy it with kit)
Cons:-
1. The length of the wire is very small.
2. No reverse mode as mentioned in the description. (Description misleading)
Overall it’s a great product, cheaper than Bosch, powerful motor than Bosch. Value for money, go for it blindly!!

I got it in 850 only but reverse and hammer function is not there, hence not suggesting anyone .
One more thing is , seal of drill box was already broken.
Another problem is it is made in PRC , i.e. made in public republic of China

If you have never done it and buying it eliminate the expenses of handy man, believe me, you won’t use it and will end up calling handy man. We are lazy as that! Even though it got so many drilling, the one I wanted for my TV frame fitting, wasn’t in it! Biggest size. Bought it, for Rs. 130. Then made an attempt. It was too complex and asked handy man to visit. That guy had Rs. 2000 machine which worked like a bull dozer! It was a toy in front of his machine.

This product is well built, looks like build to last long, but having very few features. This one comes with a single speed, no reversible action, and the hammering mide is not performing well while drilling wood, i haven’t tried any masonry drilling. And yes, the product heats up fast after 2-4 minutes of use, not like Bosch products, whic are more reliable and performance is great and price is reasonable compared to the quality of that. Read descriptions before buying, i did that mistake bcoz of an offer sale, and i hurried to buy this one

I received the item on 19 may friday, today i open it and found a operational mismatch with your given description, you said on description there is reverse operation for using screwdriver but I can’t found it in drill machine and kit box lock is damage.

I got this few days ago at 999 Rs! The body feels solid and is a powerful drill. But if not on budget I would suggest to go for a drill with variable speed. This would save your money on long run on the Bits. Single speed drill has a very high speed, and the heat will ruin your bits faster. Hope this helps someone.

The local carpenter charges 30 bucks to drill one hole in walls etc. I recently renovated my house and wanted to put up some frames and shelves.
The amount of money I would have spent to pay a random guy for drilling holes I invested it in this machine.
Best believe I recovered all of it and more. I put up pictures, installed shelves and even installed 3 mirros around the house, at my convince and with my own sweet time and measurements.
All in all I am very satisfied with the performance as it does the basic job that it’s supposed to do. It’s light weight and heavy duty, being a woman I could handle it very well!
P.S. You don’t get drill bits along, you can just buy at the local electronics for 20-40 bucks per piece. Make sure you get different ones for wood and walls.
