Ordered Saturday afternoon with free trial of Amazon prime from FTC Delhi.it reached me in Bangalore on Monday evening without any additional charges. Amazing!! The packaging was intact, though they could have given some more bubble wraps for the packaging. I will give a 3.5 for packaging. The box price says 3200.the drill is very simple to operate. I tried with a old wood drill bit that I had to drill on wood. It was very easy. I am waiting for my masonry drill bits that I have ordered form a different seller on Amazon which was my primary requirement for buying this drill. I will provide my feedback on drilling hole’s in the wall next week. Am giving 4 stars for time being.
Update 29Aug2016 – got my 5 PC masonry drill bit set from jw mart last week and got time today to test. Used the 4 mm bit and it was smooth drilling cement wall. Didn’t try concrete.I also tried on a piece of tiles. Think it was vitrified. The same 4 mm bit worked. But had to use some muscle power to drive the bit. It all depends on the quality the bit I believe. Even I was bit cautious as it was the first time and didn’t want to break the drill. I am now changing the rating of the drill to 5.

Note : No drill bits with this machine,buy separately.

I have purchased this product few weeks back and used just for making 4 to 5 holes. That is all worth Rs.2300/-.
It stopped working now and I am helpless.

Didn’t expect this from a Bosch machine…the machine gave sparks and stopped working in the first 5 mins..and it is still lying at my place…no return.bought in great Indian festival on 30 SEP 2019 .. trying to reach Bosch customer service but couldn’t.. didn’t want to give one star also

Pros (I only use for basic household needs)
•the name – Bosch
•small & handy
•good for household use
•powerful for most non-professional house work
•long cable length ( big factor)
Cons
•price could be less
•sound while working (I feel louder than older 1)
•some burning smell initially
•no drill bits given with machine
•got usual greenish blue drill & not the blue given in pictures
Amazon Customer –
The front end was rusted as pointed out by other customer also. Still if Amazon or Bosch doesn’t take notice of this, it sheerly depicts carelessness of either of them. Such a brand name followed by premium pricing has to be zero defect product. Am really shocked to see this defect in product like Bosch. No use spending 500 Rs more on this then.

The product inside the box and outside the box bear different part numbers (skimmed through a lot of youtube videos and observed the same) The carton was badly damaged and so was the plastic chuck cover (whatever you call it)… Drill is working but don’t know for how long…hope it is an original Bosch!!! Insides of the box were also gnarly…somehow the grill was intact but the chuck has minor scuff marks (was it used). Overall I am not happy with Amazon and the seller.
