I was trying for this laptop for quite a long time now but had a hard luck finding it since most of the time it was Out of Stock be it 2020 edition or 2021. Thanks to @gamingsetupdeals in Telegram from where I got to know that the Laptop is back in stock again.
Now this is not an offer price but I used a combination of Amazon Exchange offer and a collection of Amazon Vouchers which I collected overtime, so I only had to shell out ₹83,490/- for this Laptop. The exchange offer is a dynamic one so the exchange price changes from time to time.
Now for a guy who used to work on Dell Inspiron 15 this screen is really awesome. For people who can easily detect color inaccuracy for them it may not be up to the mark or even worse/a trash, but for users like me its really good. You can play 4k videos at 2160p with crisp display without lagging and to save battery you can also switch between 60Hz and 144Hz.
For the unit I received, I didn’t face any heating issues as of now while I used Blender and Daz Studio for 3D rendering and even while using Cinebench R23 the Maximum Temp. hovered around 81-82°C. I even played a CPU based game and in that case also the Temp. was same. As of now, it didn’t touch 90°C.
Since it is a 45W TDP laptop, Ryzen 7 5800H is really good since it hammers Intel Core i7 11800H in most of the segments. Had the TDP been 75W or more then Intel would have surpassed AMD.
Battery Backup is Good as well. The first time I removed the charger and worked on it, I saw the battery draining quickly, However when I turned off the RGB lighting of the keyboard, brought the screen refresh rate down to 60Hz and Turned on the iGPU mode (which means the Graphics Card wont be utilized at that time) the battery draining stabilized. So in kind of a mixed usage, I got near about 4 to 4.5hrs of backup.
In iGPU mode if you try on open the Nvidia Control panel, it will show a pop up stating that “Nvidia Graphics was not detected in your system”. Its only because in this mode, the power is completely cut off from the Graphics Card to save battery.
Getting a RTX 3060 having a TGP of 90W + 5W at this price range is really a deal because most of the other laptops at this price range is offering RTX 3050 or 3050ti with a TGP of 60W + 15W which is equivalent of GTX 1650. Only that you will have a Ray Tracing feature in it. With the new RTX 3000 Series GPU, one needs to be really careful before buying a Laptop. There are situations in which a RTX 3060 is giving more performance than a 3070, only because the TGP of that 3060 is more than 3070.
All in all, I really loved this laptop, you get all the best things in this. From a powerful Processor to powerful Graphics Card and from the latest Wifi 6 to Bluetooth 5.2.
By the way in this model of 512GB SSD, you wont be getting Microsoft Office 2019 Lifetime Edition which you would be getting in this model: https://www.amazon.in/dp/B08XBSV648.

As it was my first gaming laptop, it surely didn’t disappoint me. Even though it’s my first day, I’ll keep updating this post for next couple of weeks. For the benchmark purpose I tried couple of games on high settings resolution. Following are the details for the same(Including turbo mode only, as there was only 25-30 fps difference between turbo and balanced mode):
Valorant: 250+ fps
AC Valhalla: 50-60 fps
Call of duty: 250+ fps
GTA V: 180-200 fps
Gaming experience was amazing with 144 Hz refresh rate!! No doubt in that. Apart from that, even on Turbo mode, fans didn’t cross 31 dBA, highest temperature was around 75 till now. So all and all it was the best day of my life playing games for sure.
