I bought this not for TikTok or Youtube video, I wanted a better audio performance for my conference calls, especially during this continuous work-from-home situation during Covid-19.
The microphone works fine, no problem. But I did a ‘blind test’ – in the sense that I had another person sitting somewhere else, we had a Zoom call between us. I switched between the laptop’s built-in mic, this microphone , and the mic of my bluetooth headphones. And I asked the person on the other side to let me know which is the best performing microphone. The person could not detect any difference between the built-in mic and this mic. So that means, this mic performs only as good as the built-in mic. We have tried it multiple times and with multiple settings, but the result was same.
So the summary is – the microphone works, no issues. easy to install and configure etc. BUT – please do not expect any improvement over the built-in microphone of the laptop.

Tiny, portable and packs a punch! This mic is a cardioid condenser mic perfect for beginners as well as people who travel for work and need an external mic for podcasts or general recording. I love the fact that it comes with the full kit:
1. Stand
2. Pop filter
3. Shock mount
4. USB Cable
Starts up easy: plug and play! Works well on both my MacBook pro and Windows. It’s perfect for zoom calls, Skype as well as voice overs. For those people who are saying it sounds the same as the internal laptop mic: check your input levels. I had that problem but then realised that I hadn’t selected the mic as my source of input.
All in all a good starter mic that serves your purpose. A good everyday mic to deliver lectures as well as a good partner to your laptop to making work from home easier. I have a couple of mics like the Blue Yeti and the AKG Lyra but will not be parting with this one specially because it is so lightweight, small and well priced! You can’t compare it to the Blue and AKG but for the price point, I’m happy with my purchase! Timely delivery by Amazon.

I ordered it and got very fast delivery. I used this for singing and for video conferencing. I can say it is far better than ordinary microphone . It has noise cancellation because of pop filter and air filter. I tried singing with fan on and then I got awesome results. There was no noise of fan. There is also reduction of background noises. That’s why I was very happy with it and I will continue to use it.
It is also easy to use with plug and play option. The build quality is also good. It looks very premium. The tripod is of metal and mic is of plastic but very sturdy. The pop filter is also adjustable and can be adjusted whenever we want. The tripod stand which comes with it is small as it is made for keeping it on table. We can also upgrade it with bigger tripod stand.
The USB cable which comes with it is pretty long around 1.5 meters and the quality is also good. I like the design of the USB cable. It is very stylish. The tripod has rubber in the bottom of the stand which prevent it for getting slipped. It comes with the uhru branding on the front side of the mic. We have to speak from the front side where the uhru branding is there otherwise it will not catch our voice clearly as it has noise reduction capability. Now I don’t need sound proof room for YouTube video creation because this mic doesn’t the work as if I was in the sound proof room. I can now record video directly from my laptop and audio from the mic plugged into my laptop. This microphone can also work with mobile phone which has the type c earphone capabilities.
I used it for singing through audacity software. It sounds like professional microphone. I love karaoke songs and I found this microphone is suitable for that also. So I’m happy with this microphone which comes in my budget and also feels like professional microphone which is very expensive as compared to this microphone.
