El precio que tiene, y la marca que es, ha conseguido un producto bueno y fiable, una verdadera lástima no poder usarlo con el note 9, la facilidad de la app y la ayuda que introduce es genial, se nota que es una marca consolidada.
Es rápido en los movimientos, el control en app es bueno, y el seguimiento es más rápido que en otros modelos que he probado y tenido.
Para ajustar es fácil y los controles son intuitivos, como siempre las app van mejor en Apple que en android, a ver si Google se pone las pilas, para exigir el mismo tratamiento y control de calidad. Se entiende que uno es para los modelos de siempre y el otro tiene que lidiar con muchas marcas y terminales distintos.
Pros, precio y marca
Contras: No sirve con note 9, va descompensado, le ha faltado 1 mm para que se ajuste y no tiemble ni fuerce el motor.

I had a Zhiyun Smooth G before this which was a great bit of kit but when DJI released the Osmo 2 mobile I couldn’t resist upgrading and I’ve not been disappointed. The DJI GO app has some lovely features built in like the motion lapse and hyper lapse and the gimbal controls are super easy to use. I use Filmic Pro as my choice of video app and the Osmo 2 integrates directly with this. Since seeing it in action, my brother and a friend have also bought the Osmo 2, so would highly recommend to anyone thinking about buying one of these.

First Of All It’s Been Only 2 Days So It’s Not Proven That It Will Last,As My Main Concern Before Buying This Was,I Read Reviews That Said It Will Stop Working In 15-16 Days And By Then You Can’t Even Replace It.But To Be Honest It Seems Promising.You Can Use Dji App Or Your Own Camera But I Would Say Use It With The Dji App As It Offers Alot Of Features My Fav Is Live Tracking,It Will Track Where Ever You Go But Not Too Fast.Also Very Easy To Use And Feels Very Premium & Keep In Mind You Have To Balance The Phone Very Right Only Then It Will Be Stable Or Else It Mostly Will Fall After Few Seconds From Turning On.And Ya The App Doesn’t Crash,Maybe One Or Two Times But After That It Surely Wont.
Overall An Amazing Gimbal With Possibly The Best Software In The Market.

DJI has maintained the quality, though this is termed as cheaper version it is made of good quality material. The App and ecosystem are well connected.
The quick start guide is bit complex to understand at first go but DJI’s YouTube videos are there to help. I got my running within few hours as it also needed a charge.

I’ve been using DJI products since the P3 came out. I own a P4P and a Ronin S. Had a wonderful experience with all DJI Products and with the same I had high expectations on the Osmo Mobile 2.
You’d find a lot of reviews why to buy a Osmo Mobile 2. But let me tell why not to. I ordered my Osmo Mobile on November 3. It Arrived on November 5. First impressions were good. Took it out for test and was impressed with it. 2 days later I went out for a cinematic test with this. At the moment I faced a severe Roll Stabilization issue. The Roll Motor was trying hard to keep the phone stable due to which the gimbal started draining 50% Battery in 3 hours of usage!
For this reason got my Gimbal replaced. Got my 2nd variant. This has some serious issues than previous. It never follows my commands!
U put it to Lock Mode and it stays there forever! Even if I tap the mode button it doesn’t return to Follow Mode!
I don’t whom to blame, DJI or The Seller. Anyways have a thought before placing an Order!

This is the 3rd time I am trying to write a review since everytime Amazon rejects it.
The gimbal stopped working 20 days after buying. The gimbal just wont turn on with a flashing yellow light. Contacted DJI first since the return window was closed. DJI set the right expectation saying they would need to repair the gimbal and since DJI doesnt have service center in India, it needs to be sent to Hongkong for repair. They advised me to contact Amazon, which I did. But after that Amazon is giving me a run around for the last 15 days after following up with them multiple times and explaining the issue.
Overall verdict: Buy at your own risk. DJI does not have service center in India.

The gimbal arrived in a foam box. There is no carry case included. It has USB charging wire you can attach to your phone charger adaptor. Ideally 2.0 A travel adaptor should charge it for approximately 2 hours. So check the amperage. Read the instruction manual very carefully regarding the charging and setup.
The quality is extremely good though YouTube reviewers complain about its plastic construction and feel, I think there can’t be a better plastic than this. As for the grip, it’s kind of smooth at the back and matte/mildly rough at the front. A sweaty palm might have issues regarding slippage in which case you can purchase any safety rope that can be attached at the bottom of the gimbal where there is a port/screw hole for a tripod. It’s sturdy.
It’s a smooth process of setting it up. You have to download the DJI go app which is relatively huge for an app, from the Google Play Store for Android or Apple Store for iPhone users. Setup a DJI account and register it.
Before you proceed any further, you must be completely ready for the toughest part of the setting up process which is the balancing of the phone. Your phone could be light or heavy and depending on that it must be completely balanced on the gimbal which means it should stay still facing up/down and shouldn’t tilt, in which case you will have to manipulate the screws or knobs at the side and back until you get the perfect balance. You can set it up in portrait or landscape orientation. The portrait mode is a little bit difficult to balance. There are numerous tutorials on YouTube regarding the balancing and most focus on the landscape orientation. The guide book or manual isn’t very helpful in this regard. You will have to watch and, or download a small video which I did, from DJI website about setting up/balancing it. A properly balanced phone will consume much less battery as the motor parts won’t have to work extra to forcefully balance the phone during operation. If not balanced and you continue using it, the gimbal will make a motor noise alerting you that your phone need to be balanced. It’s not an alarm warning. Just a way of diagnosing improperly balanced smartphone-gimbal.
Once your phone is balanced, switch on the gimbal and the motor will swing it to life and automatically adjust it at a still setting. You must not forcefully try to twist and turn the motor as it will damage it. Then turn on the app, and phone Bluetooth. The smartphone will pair with the gimbal and then you can enter the section for osmo gimbal. The app itself supports many different types of gimbals and drones that DJI manufactures. A tutorial is present which will train you how to use the gimbal. Again, YouTube has walk through guides for the tutorial itself as I found some particular tutorial task difficult to execute.
The smartphone gimbal isn’t a powerful device for shooting really excellent photos and videos especially. Don’t expect to be become an expert in a day or week. You will need to learn for many months in case it’s a first time purchase and usage. It’s not a selfie stick. Remember the difference. If all you want to do is take group photos or selfies then purchase a selfie stick or a tripod for the smartphone. This gimbal belongs to an altogether different plane of videography and has some huge learning curve involved. Be ready for this.
You can take very beautiful shots like hyperlapse, timelapse etc. Just place it on a tripod, adjust the timer and let it shoot, say the crowds, the moving cars and clouds etc and watch the crowd or the world around you move in high speed. Craneshots, dolly zooming, pan reverse zooming, parallax effects, 360 degree view, panorama etc are some of the features. Those take time to learn and perfect. Other options like sport or walk mode is available. Also the option of livestreaming to Facebook, YouTube, Weibo is available.
Overall, I’m very satisfied with this gimbal. The gimbal perfectly stabilizes the smartohone and even if you walk on uneven roads or rocky beaches or take a video from the car, you won’t find the camera swaying or shaking. That’s the biggest advantage over hand held videography. The battery will comfortably lasts you a day or more of heavy use. The smartphone can be charged from the side, but I don’t recommend this. It won’t be possible to charge in any case if you place it in landscape orientation since the charger port which is usually located at the bottom of the phone is to be placed flushed with the rubber cushion of the gimbal. In portrait mode you might be able to charge your phone as the holder is rotated and the usb port becomes available for charging. At 480 grams, you will start feeling the weight on your wrist and forearms pretty soon which makes it difficult for long term use. Another disadvantage I found is that when you balance the phone in portrait mode, and try to shoot images or videos, with the rear camera, the back of the gimbal is often seen in the focus and is difficult to eliminate. The smartphone will take an image of the arm of the gimbal. But if you want to take selfie video for Facebook/snapchat/Instagram stories then it will do fine as the front camera will not obviously have any hindrance or obstruction. This design flaw of a part of the gimbal being in the image field of the camerawasn’t taken into account by the engineers. Unless you have a smartphone which has a camera at the very top end of the phone or close to the edge then, perhaps you won’t have that issue I mentioned.
Overall, it’s a good purchase at such an affordable price. Go for it and watch your videos come to life.

One of the biggest question answered, Yes I got my DJI Osmo Mobile 2 delivered yesterday and guess what it perfectly works with my Samsung Galaxy Note 9…Yes you heard it right. Initially I was really in confusion if it supports android phones as in many of the reviews every one was using only Apple phones and many have also told that some feature do not work with android phones.
But it really works with my Samsung Galaxy Note 9, Just balance your Note 9 (Please use it with out phone case) and install the DJI App from google store and connect it with Bluetooth. That’s it. All the features like time lapse, Hyper lapse, Motion Time-lapse, changing rear camera and front camera, and also zoom works fine with DJI Osmo. So guys who ever is using Samsung Note 9 and was thinking if it is compatible with DJI Osmo Mobile 2 …..YES it is….. I give a 5 STAR RATING.

Je cherchais initialement une caméra sympa pour filmer les enfants. Par contre je ne disposais pas d’un budget illimité et je ne trouvais rien qui me satisfaisait. Je me suis donc orienté vers cette solution, mon Samsung S7 edge ayant une bonne optique.
Le moins que je puisse dire c’est que je ne suis pas déçu. Certes l’appareil est un peu plus encombrant que le téléphone seul mais il apporte une qualité cinéma à vos vidéos. Vous pouvez courir derrière l’enfant qui fait du vélo et l’image restera stable. Il est aussi possible de faire des panoramas Time lapse etc. L’autonomie est bonne (15h) par contre la batterie du téléphone est très sollicitée. Vous pouvez brancher celui-ci sur l’osmo pour le recharger. Il est important de bien équilibrer à l’aide des mollettes l’osmo avec votre téléphone pour que les moteurs ne soient pas trop sollicités et ainsi préserver la batterie. Un peu embêtant lorsqu’il n’est pas en fonctionnement car il n’y a pas de fonction de blocage du bras ce qui fait qu’il fait un peu mannequin désarticulé. Le produit est vendu avec une boîte en polystyrène renforcé pour le ranger ainsi qu’un câble USB. Bref je ne regrette pas mon achat. So I bit the bullet and bought an expensive gimbal! I was hesitant about getting one, especially at this price point, but my phone video footage was so shaky and rough I just knew I needed to step it up a level with a good gimbal. I watched a lot of reviews before choosing this gimbal, my criteria and thoughts are:
Carry case – an expensive item such as this which is sensitive to being bashed around needs a god case. This comes with a hard foam case for protection. The case doesn’t have any carry handles but fits easily into a backpack and holds the gimbal in a good position.
Battery life – I’m yet to drain the battery. I did a full day of filming at Stonehenge and the battery was still over half full. No complaints there. Charge time is fairly quick – certainly not something I’ve noticed enough to be concerned by.
Android compatibility – I initially thought that the app has one major flaw for me. I couldn’t choose my external storage for the video files which meant it fills up very quickly and stops recording! A google search told me that it wasn’t possible. However I since discovered it just is really un-obvious how you do it. To set the SD card as the storage you go into Settings, Camera, Click to change storage location and then it appears to show you some instructions, what wasn’t obvious is that at the very bottom of the ‘instructions’ there is a button which you click. You then select the root of the SD card and it does the rest.
The app – You can use the native camera app and still get the benefit of a nice smooth gimbal, however you will not then have access to the additional functions on the gimbal controller (pan, tilt, zoom and record start/stop). The app lets you record up to 4k on my Samsung S7. Its got great functions such as object tracking, slow motion and various gimbal modes. The only downside so far is the stuttery zoom – this may be asking too much from my phone and perhaps a more powerful phone would help. You can’t expect everything from a phone! So I’m not marking the gimbal down on this count…. and anyway, it would only be a digital zoom which I could always do post production.
Smooth video! – the gimbal is brilliant for creating nice smooth video for panoramic shots and recording while walking. The pan/tilt control is over sensitive and takes some getting used to. I suspect that if I could use the app then I might have control over how sensitive it is, but I can’t use the app as explained above.
Ease of use – the setup is very easy, you just have two thumb screws to loosen and position the phone until it balances correctly. As soon as I power the gimbal on it connects to my phone almost instantly and positions itself. If it was slow at this point it would be really annoying if you quickly wanted to deploy it, so I’m very pleased with this part. If you want to see some video, head over to Henry’s Hysterical History on Youtube to see some of the videos shot using this, specifically the Stonehenge one in comparison to the caernarfon castle one which didn’t use a gimbal.

ジンバル初心者の方にもとてもとっつきやすく、
動画撮影もクオリティアップ間違いありません。
特にトラックモード(勝手に被写体を追従する)などは
とても便利で、場合によっては無人カメラとして、
２カメ、３カメとしての運用も可能ではないかとおもいます。
ただ、録画したメディアファィルがiPhoneの場合はいちいちアプリから
写真フォルダに移動しないと、メディアを移動できないのが、少し面倒ですね。
SDとかに直接記録できるように、本体にSDのスロットがあればなお良かったのですが、
この価格ではそれは無理でしょうね。^^
なので★5つです。
話は変わりますが、今回はSEBURO というショップで購入しましたが、
他店が入荷日を足並み揃えているのに対し、この店だけ早かったので注文しましたが、
結局は他店より遅く到着。
つまり入りもしない入荷日とわかっていながら、
「人気商品なのでメーカーが・・・」という言い訳をすればいいと、
他店より早く入荷できる日を掲載していたのではないかと思われます。
まんまと騙されました。
