Pure Android, so no bloats. As far as now, no issues of heating. Fast charging. Average sound quality. Easy to use.

First of all, a word of caution. The Nokia G42 5G does not come with a dedicated SD card slot. You can use 2 sims or 1 sim + 1 SD card. Pre sales inquiry on both nokia website and Amazon said it comes with 2 sims and a dedicated SD card slot. Imagine my horror when I noticed it on unpacking. That’s why deduction of 2 stars.
Since it looks so beautiful and photos were incredibly beyond my expectations, I decided to keep it. Night photos are incredibly amazing.
First tried to return it, but was caught in a match between Amazon and Nokia on who will handle this problem. Support person from both said they will call back but never did. But the phone is amazing.

Charger was good for fast charging. Made in India. But sadly the charger not working after 1 month. Defective piece. Want replace within warranty period.

Performance and Speed – Cannot expect much with a low end processor, but it’s not that bad. You can run heavy games in low to medium graphics. Application opening time is also low. (4 star)
Battery life – This is something I stuggled with. The battery, though lasts you a day on heavy enough usage, doesn’t seem to be enough. (3 star)
Storage – Good enough storage space for a phone at this price. (5 star)
Ease of use – Stock android, will be easy for Google pixel users, will be difficult for samsung users, and if this is your first device, don’t bother about it. (4-5 stars)
Others – 5G phone, so fast browsing over the internet. Camera is good, better than Samsung (at this price). Stock android feeling.
