This gets two stars for being, technically, a working pair of wireless headphones. Some other reviews claim they’re too quiet and have no bass; I didn’t notice those problems. The only good feature is that the bass kicks like a horse. But here ARE the problems, a list for brevity:

    – The trebles are tinny and harsh, no better than a $20 set.

    – I could almost swear there actually IS NO ANC, the only reason I bought this set. You can’t adjust it, you can’t turn it off, and frankly I didn’t notice a sound blocking difference that you couldn’t achieve with a well-fitted pair of memory foam tips.

    – The wires and the plastic of the buds and control switch are light and cheap; they feel like a pair of headphones from 2005.

    – I had to take the fins out for comfort, and even after that, I found the long, thick bars at the bottom of the buds uncomfortable.

    – And lastly, since there is no neckband, there is no support for the wires. This might be good for some who would like more flexibility, but it quickly proved VERY irritating for me. I’m often listening with only one bud, so without the structure of a solid neckband, the loose bud weighs itself down, pulling the (too short) wire down and tight across the back of my neck, and I’m always having to pull it up so it isn’t half pulling the other bud out of my ear.

I briefly considered keeping these as a back-up pair for when their replacement arrives because returning stuff is a such a bother, but around the 80th time I had to pull up the other bud, it dawned on me that I didn’t even want to put up with these for a couple of days. So I’m officially going to the bother, for the first time. And for me, that means going to the library to print the label, then probably going to the post office. Let that sink in.

First and last Skullcandy purchase, seek elsewhere. Adios amigos.

I bought them from skullcandy site during their sale it costed me 4000rupees there, I bought the red color ones and they are just amazing🤩🤩 they are made of good quality plastic and ANC is pretty good cannot hear anything aroud when volume raised to nearly 70% reviews are bad as they are very much expensive but buy them in sale and you hit a jackpot everything is fine but I didn’t get any carry pouch with it but they have written in the product description in skullcandy site. But they are amazing trust me!

Sound quality is quite good. However the most important bit, fails miserably in Battery, which died quite quickly

    1. While playing music/movies on 60% volume dies within 4hours, around 3hours 40mins.
    2. Deactivated bluetooth, battery drains in 6hours itself which is again quite awful.

    – Bluetooth Range is quite weak too. Looses connection & song clarity in 6fts distance itself.

    – Active Noise Cancellation: Terrible. Can hear everything outside even while playing music, forget about without music. I’m currently using Bose QC30 with ACN being one of the best in class. Not comparing with it but Method Active is not even 25% close to it.

Extremely disappointed with the bluetooth wireless. Not worth at all

To add the the frustration, Skullcandy only has Warranty policy and not a refund policy. So for me TOTAL WASTE OF 6K…

Really liked these headphones. I’m no expert but personally thought the noise cancelling was pretty good. Lots of bass, really nice fit and overall really nice headphones for a good price

Drawbacks are battery life only stands between 4 to 5 hours, sometimes automatically get disconnected.

Pros are good sound quality, good Bluetooth range, good noise cancellation.

    Unworthy for this price range

Samsung level u much better than this.

I was disappointed that the Active noise Cancellation could not be disabled. In fact, it is not clear sound-wise that there is ANC at all, except that the headphones when they power up a voice will say that active noise cancellation is ON.

Anyway, they were still doing the work as headphones. My wife is using them in the subway, and also when running and they hold well in the ears.

But now, 5 months after buying them, the headphones will not charge anymore. I tried a few chargers and micro USB cables, and they wont charge (charge light will not light and when you power the headphone up, it powers up, then after 10 seconds powers down).

All in all, not happy with the durability. And Amazon says that the support ended after 3 months.

Is there a way to still get them replaced by the vendor ?

    Update to review:

The earbuds started to work again. Maybe there was too much humidity, not sure.

I also found out that Skullcandy provides a 2 year warranty on their website, that’s a relatively long warranty, so I’m happy about that.

I will see if the charging issue comes back again or not.

The battery was very poor, as it takes about 30-40 mins to full charge but drains to zero in just 20 mins. Really disappointed with the product and my first Skullcandy experience.

It has good sound quality and overall has a very rich ditribution between bass trebs and mids. But I would not say it is noise cancelling it is more of a noise isolation style but overall I am satisfied

In sala stampa saranno fantastiche.

Used it for almost a month
    Pros:
Noise cancellation while on music is good.
    Sound quality is premium.
Battery life and charging speeds are good.

    Cons:
Bluetooth connectivity issues on asus laptop.
Noise cancellation is minimal when no music.
Wire is thin and looks like it will break.
