Purchased on 26 August, but I applied it for the first time on Diwali day.The colour is a very deep maroon and varies somewhat from that shown on site. If you see the colour in Maybelline’s own site , it would still look different. The colour BERRY BOSSY is the only one in Indian market which has the same name in Maybelline website . The number in their site is 820. The lipstick sold in India is number 15. Maybelline website says there are 20 shades but I think in India you will get only 15.The sealed pack given by Amazon is exactly the same as sold in shops. The lipstick case was sealed with transparent casing with sticker which mentioned that product was Mfd by/for L’Oreal SA France imported in April 2017. I was a bit hesitant to use the lipstick because another sticker said that it was made in China . I enquired in Kolkata market but did not get a satisfactory reply about where the product was made France or China. Someone said the lipstick was made in France or USA, but the case was made in China and the lipstick was assembled there. Once you take off the seal to use the lipstick, the manufacturing/import details are removed . Application is easy, -just one stroke on the lips. You have to be careful while applying because if you do not pay attention, you will accidentally apply more and it would be messy. It feels creamy when you apply, but after application this feeling does not last. It is difficult to wash off at the end of the day . The best way is to soak a cotton ball in any edible oil from the kitchen and repeatedly rub the lips until it is removed. Compared to other brands, the colour of this lipstick is not unusual , removal is difficult,the lipstick can be applied in one stroke ,but it transfers to cups etc when you eat. However, enough remains on the lips even after wearing the colour for 08 hours. I have tested the other colours in the shops and find that the base note of most colours of Loaded Bolds is pink .Particularly Violet Plum is not a deep purple as it appears on site. I purchased BERRY BOSSY for Rs413/- , later during Diwali sale I notices that price was reduced to 385/-, which in my opinion, should be the correct price for Loaded Bolds .Overall I am glad that I have one Loaded Bold but I will definitely not buy another in this group. It is better to buy some other brand Made in India.

Midnight sensation.. it’s just awesome.. i thought, it would dark pink or wine color, but it not like that. its a combination of wine+dark brown…though i didn’t like the color much… but i must say its so smooth…non sticky..

I simply love this range of Maybelline.
I have four shades: Chilli nude, Almond pink, Toasted brown and Pretty Please
I got all the shades on discount. I bought Chilli nude for 432/- on Amazon discount. They have mentioned the price to be 575/-. But when I checked on the product it is 450/-. So please check before you buy. Such issue had never occurred before which is why I feel surprised. I got Pretty Please at a discounted rate on Amazon though.
Coming to the lipsticks:
1) Chilli nude – It’s a mute red – orange shade. It’s perfect for those who want to try red lipsticks. Also, one who would like to go bold without attracting much public attention. It brings instant glow to the skin. This is my favourite amongst all the shades.
2) Almond pink – It is a muted mauve – pink shade. It is a pretty shade which can be pulled off by everyone.
3) Toasted brown – It is a typical nude shade which can be closely resembled to MAC mocha. It’s simply perfect when you don’t want any color as such on your lips but at the same time don’t want to look pale without one.
4) Pretty Please – It is that gothic burgundy/plum colour which one would prefer during winters. One needs to apply it with brush or use a lip liner to contour it or else it will look a disaster! For me, it is a bit dark to apply on lips and so I dab tissue after applying.
These lipstick can stay on for 4-5 hours easily. They are quite comfortable on lips. Doesn’t dry out luckily! They can survive mild meals/snacks and transfer slightly. They have reduced the price to 299/- for creamy mattes. I personally feel the quality that Maybelline is offering is far more superior than to be priced so less. Nevertheless, this is my favourite range and I would be repurchasing these. 🙂

I bought two shades (Chocolholic & Midnight Date), both are awesome Fall shades. Really pigmented as described and glides on so smoothly. However, these two shades at least are very difficult to maintain. Its a creamy matte and gives full opacity with just one swipe, but they need a lipliner as they tend to get all messy when one eats or drinks anything. They dont bleed or feather, but because they are such bold colours & leave a stain, even when I eat a sandwich and the colour smears a bit around the mounth, its difficult to remove. Shades are gorgeous and brightens up the face, but its so difficult to maintain the colour as its not transfer proof and can smudge all over. What I do is to dab off the lipstick with tissue and leave only the stain (which by itself also looks really good) or mattify it with loose powder . Love the bold shades but in future will stick to liquid lipstick for such shades.

Thought it’s more pinky but it’s totally dark purple. Doesn’t go with my skin tone. Anyway it’s really nice and creamy. Doesn’t dry out on your lips.
