This is very small, light and well made. Suitable for recording background audio without picking up the camera’s technical noises. It doesn’t isolate sound well enough from the background to work for interviews, so I always use a lapel mic at the same time as this. It’s quite probably overpriced.

Love these pics. I have two that I use with video cameras and on audio (Zoom H1) recorders for great clear sound! Small and sturdy, 1 AA battery lasts for hours!
