The AC works well and it cools down my 150sqft room in less than 5 minutes. But there is only one problem.. The fan in inner unit is noisy (like high speed ceiling fan) when run at medium or high speed. No noise is felt at low speed. Hence, if you are okay with some noise then go with it. For us the AC works well in low speed and usually you don’t need to run the fan at medium speed.

It’s been 2-3 days I started using it.
My AC is not cooling at all, initially I thought it is fixing itself or may be i am not so familiar with the functionalities. On 2nd day I realized there is some issue with cooling feature.
I have just registered complaint to VOLTAS.
I will update my feedback once the issue is resolved.
Update: Its been 2 years since i am using this AC. Voltas service is the worst on planet. I had to arrange technician from outside voltas to fix the cooling issue. Finally now my AC is cooling properly from last 6 months. But i suggest buyers to go for hot and cool AC by extending your budget little more. I do not recommend VOLTAS. Preferably any electronics from voltas.

Noise level of ok. Not very silent but it’s average good. It doesn’t have horizontal swing and wifi. Although the remote mentions that. The installation work done by the Voltas service guys was very poor. They broke my house tile even after telling to be careful. They also didn’t fix the AC in center even after telling, neother they did Electricity Connection and were in a hurry to just go with the money. Bad and poor installation work and Service. Also no drilling machine and the work don’t was by hammer and cheni manually making a mess of the whole room and furniture.

Ac seems good but drain pipe was missing. Installation charges 4000 including I meter extra copper pipe and drain pipe. Which is pathetic. Cooling is good not that bad. Design is not great. Cooling take time as water not flowing much from drain pipe. Overall cost me 48k which is expensive. I can’t return as I don’t have box and I fixed it. To wall. Disappointed.

We ordered a 1.5 Ton 5 Star Voltas Split AC (185V SZS R32 – 4552742B20BC01801) from Amazon.in on 18th May 2020 and the same got installed around 23rd-24th May 2020 through Voltas service professionals. Installation process took place in more than 5 hours and after 1-2 days AC stopped cooling. Then we registered a complaint and we got to know that there was gas leakage and gas needed to be refilled. After gas filling also, AC was not working properly and in the last 7-10 days, there have been multiple visits from Voltas service personnels. Yesterday, the cooling issue got resolved somewhere (after again refilling gas for the second time) but today again a new issue of water leakage is happening to a large extent in the indoor part.
It is the most devastating and worst experience in my life. I request you to simply make a return of your product and refund my money (including installation charge + Stand Charge etc.). I really can’t go with this AC as I have lost my confidence (I am scared of thinking of the experience I could have after 1 year) and I am frustrated on complaining each and every time.
I am requesting you to do the needful to process my request on an urgent basis. Looking forward to hearing back soon please.

As a first step, I am extremely upset with Amazon at not taking back this product, when the Voltas installation team made life HELL for me, and I could see the writing on the wall of a REALLY BAD PURCHASE DECISION.
Having had to swallow the Amazon refusal, I am now actually living out the expected misery of purchasing this Air Conditioner costing Rs 42,000/-. The AC has stopped cooling within 2 months of its purchase, and repeated calls – even begging and pleading with the Voltas After Sales Service staff – has come to no avail. No calls, No visits, and NO ACTION WHATSOEVER in this sweltering heat. Their helpline email or phone numbers (most of them) are non-existent or don’t work. There is virtually no way to reach them save for an all India Helpline, where promises are made every day, but NOTHING HAPPENS….and the next day you have to repeat your story again….and again…and again, till you are forced to seek outside help

Worst product experience because of dealership and service challenges. Within 1 month if installation the ac stopped working and no service even after repeated calls. The worst Experience from Voltas because of weak distribution challenge. As usual Amazon has no say in it, When seller,distributor,dealer,manufacturer is not in sync you have to clear all mess by yourself.Never buy electrical goods from from ekarts.
